Soundness Flowers

During the easter holidays, I visited Mystras, a fortified town in Laconia, Peloponnese, Greece. I chose to use this abandoned town for my project because it reminded me of fairytales. Nature made the ruins come to life. Walking around the town, I felt like I was visiting a monument full of life. Wild flowers were everywhere around me, coming out from the smallest crack of a wall.

I wanted to express the power of nature and share this breathtaking experience.

For this project we had to produce one digital print that would be printed on cotton canvas, and the dimensions would be 1m by 30cm. The print would have to work in both interior and exterior places. For my design I used flowers, trying to bring the exterior in the interior space.
