Lighting Stripes

For this fashion project I collaborated with Emma Aparici Fortuny and Poppy Smyth to create an outfit.

Our starting point had to be either spots, stripes or checks. I chose to focus on stripes, taking photos of lights while moving the camera. This created random lines of light.

For my final piece I made a top which consisted of different layers of light-weight fabrics such as silk organza, trying to re-create the random light movement.
